Yes. If you apply from within Spain for a residence permit for international remote workers, it may be granted for up to 3 years. If you apply through a Spanish consulate, you will usually first receive a visa valid for up to 1 year.
For self-employed, freelancer, sole proprietor, and contractor cases, autónomo registration is usually a key part of the legal work structure in Spain. For employees, the logic may be different: in those cases, social security, the A1 certificate, insurance, and employer documents need to be reviewed separately. We check this before submission.
As a guideline for the main applicant in 2026, it is around €2,849 per month. For a family, the amount increases. Before submission, we recalculate the requirement based on the current SMI and your family composition.
For professional activity, working with Spanish clients/companies is allowed, but such work must not exceed 20% of your total professional activity. Your main activity and income must be connected to foreign employers/clients.
Not always. The requirement can be met either through education or through at least 3 years of professional experience. We assess which option is stronger in your particular case.
